Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving HR excellence? We are seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to join our team at our North Austin Headquarters. In this key role, you will be instrumental in shaping and leading our HR team to new heights. Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Under the guidance of the VP of HR, manage day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Provide tactical and operational support, ensuring effective execution of HR policies, programs, and services. Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in various HR areas, including employee relations, payroll, compensation, benefits administration, performance management, talent acquisition, and legal compliance. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to foster a high-performing, results-driven culture. Strategic Execution: Collaborate with the VP of Human Resources to plan, develop, and implement departmental budgets and strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational goals. Payroll Administration: Manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. HRIS Administration: Oversee an advanced HR Information System (HRIS), continuously analyzing and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency. Benefits & Leave Administration: Administer leave programs, ensure benefit plan compliance, and manage the Open Enrollment Process. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employment issues, escalating complex situations to the VP of HR when necessary. Performance Management: Oversee the annual evaluation process and implement programs to drive employee engagement and retention. Employee Handbook & Job Descriptions: Review, update, and implement changes to the Employee Handbook. Create and update job descriptions in collaboration with managers. Talent Acquisition: Provide direction and support to the Talent Acquisition team, setting measurable goals and monitoring recruitment activity results. HR Projects: Partner with the VP of HR to identify, develop, and implement new processes and improvements for the HR Team. Requirements: Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a management-level role. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field. Demonstrated experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS administration, employee relations, and talent acquisition. Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in an ever-changing environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to travel to other branches and work locations within the Austin and Tyler area based on business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree. 5+ years of experience in a financial institution or related industry. Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now. PHR/SPHR or SHRMCP/SCP certification.
