Travel Licensed Therapist Opportunity

Assignment Details Licensed Outpatient Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Specialty: Behavioral Health
Location: three outpatient facilities serving the Sacramento area
Flexible Start Date
Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Shift: Days, Monday-Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm
Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable
Bi-weekly pay
Paid travel to/from assignment

Job duties to include:
Provide treatment and case management activities to the patient, which may include individual and group therapy, linkage with community resources, and discharge planning.
Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients treatment team.
Provide clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.
Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
Education: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or a related field required
Licensure/Certification: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC California license required, CPR certification
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year direct clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health setting preferred. Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, discharge planning and communication with external review organizations or a comparable license preferred. Knowledge of medical necessity and documentation standards preferred.
