Job Description:
Specific Responsibilities
* Serve as project manager for select high value business projects.
* Support the company's new product development program and ensure a consistent flow of products and services available for commercialization.
* Own productivity project development, tracking, and reporting program and ensure the consistent achievement of company's productivity goals.
* Train various functional departments to properly identify productivity projects for development.
* Collaborate with Linde Safety, Productivity, and Research and Development teams to complete high value company projects and to deliver new ideas and best practices to NuCO2.
* Exceed project team's minimum performance expectations - which are linked to the company's financial plan.
* Act as the escalation point for project related issues and facilitate appropriate response in a timely manner while communicating effectively, professionally, and promptly.
* Act as a NuCO2 representative for the productivity leaders of other Linde business units regarding their productivity projects.
* Work closely with NuCO2 management to routinely prioritize and report out status of all high value projects.
* Provide productivity performance reporting in accordance with Linde standard.
* Perform other similar duties as required by management.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Creative and skilled project leader who has five years' experience in project management and productivity, preferably in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
* Ability to effectively use productivity principles, tools, and best practices and to teach basic productivity concepts to others.
* Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
* Well-developed financial acumen to effectively guide/influence investment and expenditure decisions for the company.
* Strong problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and groups of employees.
* Proficient computer skills - MS office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to lead and motivate other NuCO2 associates in achieving key objectives.
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field
* Lean / Six Sigma certification
* Travel is required. Approximately 25% travel.
