We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer with acoustic/audio testing experience to help introduce new Bose products to production working in collaboration with our product development teams and our contract manufacturers (CMs).
On our team, you will help ATG to 1) develop acoustic test sequences and design complex test fixtures with the use of modeling, 2) be present at builds to monitor and troubleshoot issues and audit CMs when necessary, 3) process test data and provide data analysis (MSA, Cpk, build reports), and 4) aid with knowledge transfer, processes, and documentation related to acoustic test.
Responsibilities:
* Work with Bose engineering team to 1) create test plans, 2) develop, implement, and troubleshoot test sequences, and 3) model, design, verify, and troubleshoot acoustic test fixtures.
* Understand the functions and maintenance of test hardware and software, the acoustic measurements performed, and the product knowledge needed to support test.
* Help to coordinate GR&R and other test experiments to ensure data quality and robustness and help document test processes and production test results.
